Moose sleeps in the hallways and doorways at work. He normally sleeps with his back against a wall and his legs sticking out… we have to step over him often. The other day I found him sleeping like this….

Needless to say, he was quite noisy hitting the wall when he tried to get up.

A few months ago we learned how to properly prune our roses. Now they are blooming beautifully and I never noticed the variety of colors we have. We have nine and none are exactly the same. They’re gorgeous. Here are my two favorites:

I’ll try to take more as more of them open up.

Our freesia, probably one of my most favorite flowers:

Last fall we trimmed back our hibiscus by about half. They were getting way too tall. Because we pruned so much, I didn’t expect to see any flowers for a while. The orange one is making its way back slowly with just two blossoms right now…

But, one blossom is the size of my hand.
