The week hasn’t really been blog-worthy. We’re pretty busy at work trying to get a lot of product over to China for manufacturing and sampling before Chinese New Year. The factories are closed for up to two weeks for the holiday. We’re also getting busy working on products for the Harry Potter theme park. It’s kind of excitng to be a part of that process being a fan of the books.

James arrived last night from VA. He’ll hang out with Bill today and the three of us will fly to OAK this evening to spend the weekend with family. James will stay in the Bay Area for a month or so looking for a job and a place to live.

Last night we took James to the Yard House for dinner. It was fun as always and the food was also great. We shared delicious Jamacian Jerk chicken wings as an appetizer. They were baked instead of fried. I could have made a meal out of them. I had a crab cake hoagie for dinner, James had a rib-eye with garlic mashed potatoes and Bill had their mac n’ cheese. I enjoyed the Warsteiner Pilsner that I’ve ordered before. James had a 1/2 yard of Coors Lite. I thought it was a little sad that with 180 varieties of beer on tap he chose Coors Lite. As you can see below, he was happy.

It was interesting watching James drink out of that glass. I bet the full yard glass (46 oz) is even funnier to watch.

Happy Anniversary to Mom and Dad tomorrow! After 34 years they still put up with each other. I wonder if Dad will remember that Mom loves flowers…
