Tommy turned one month old yesterday. He’s sleeping in his crib more and is taking a liking to the swing. We had a couple of nights last week where he slept for chunks of four or five hours, it was quite nice. We must have become too optimistic, because he has been fussy and gassy at night for the past couple of nights. Last night he was awake from 11pm until about 7am crying every time one of us tried to place him in his crib… it was a long night.

He’s grown noticeably to Bill and me, but we weren’t sure how to show it through photos.
These three are from when he was just a couple of days old:

These are from last evening:

Same position on Bill’s lap. I guess you’ll just have to see him in person to really see the difference.

Some other photos from this week:

I almost caught his smile here! Almost!

Subtly flipping Auntie Jackie off…

Loving it! He does look very different. Less puffy around the eyes. What a punkin!

I can tell that he is growing and changing.  You can tell that he is less of a newborn and more of a baby.  He is adorable!

He looks less like an old man and more like a little baby…he gets bigger every time I see him. He is soooo cute. That kid has my heart.

Mine, too, Jackie.  Can’t wait to meet him in person.  He does look more mature.

Every time I see pictures of him I want to jump on a plane, fly over, and give him a Thai-style sniff kiss.  New babies smell so good!
