I’m not quite finished with the photos from the Red Egg and Ginger Party we had on the day before Thanksgiving and the rest of the trip, but some other photos are finished from afterward, so I’ll share.
This is one of my favorite things that Tommy does: after he’s done eating and he’s right on the edge of his food coma he stretches his arms up and leans his head back. It’s so adorable and he sometimes stays in that position. Bill was able to snap a couple of pics of him.
Tommy is getting more and more expressive in his face. He smiles now when Bill or I smile at him and he’s made a few noises that are something close to a laugh. But he’s hasn’t done a full giggle yet. He also mimics some noises he hears. I have video of him almost saying hello to Bill. It’s pretty funny.
He had his two month doctor’s appointment this past Monday. He’s in the 50th percentile for his head circumference, 25% percentile for his height and 75th percentile for his weight at 12 pounds 5 ounces. He’s almost doubled his birth weight! He also had his first vaccines on Monday and was a trooper. He cried for about thirty seconds and fussed for a few minutes and was fine for the rest of the time.
He seems to like bath time and give us the funniest looks when he’s getting a bath. We’ve also noticed that his double chin is becoming more pronounced and he’s growing out of all of his newborn clothes.
We’re heading up to Newark this weekend for Christmas and I’ll be sure to take lots of photos and post when we get home. Have a great holiday!
