Kogi Truck!

Continuing my theme of food truck food. One of the Kogi BBQ trucks was parked across the street from my office this afternoon. They are famous for their Korean barbeque tacos. I have already tried their spicy pork taco and kalbi (marinated short rib) tacos. This time I ordered the Kogi Sliders:

They were mighty tasty with Korean marinated short rib inside, a yummy cole slaw and some sort of spicy mayo. I think I prefer the sliders to the Kalbi tacos.

I also ordered one calamari taco:

It was really delicious! The sauce was sweet and spicy and the calamari was perfectly cooked. I kind of wish I had ordered two of these.

Tomorrow I think I’m going to have a salad for lunch.

Those look good.  You know, here in Bangkok a Korean style taco truck has recently started business.  I’m going to have to seek them out and try.  Interesting to see how food trends slowly make their way here.
