a quick update

My apologies for the lull in posting; June has been quite a busy month for us. My last day of work coincided with visits from cousins from Kansas, Arkansas and Thailand. Somewhere in there we managed a quick trip to Newark and a trip to Salt Lake City to find a place to live. Yesterday we received news that our application was accepted for a cozy home in Sandy, Utah! So now that we have a place lined up, we are waiting to hear when the movers have availability; hoping it’s sometime within the next couple of weeks.

This weekend we have plans for a garage sale and a July 4th BBQ with friends. We’re bummed that we may have to miss Dad and Logan’s birthday party, but we desperately need to sell some of the crap we have hanging around and we aren’t sure we will be able to postpone it another weekend.

If we can move in the next two weeks or so, it may be a while before I can post again. Here are some photos to tie you over until then…

sporting his Corvette. It’s about twenty years old and the battery no longer works, but Tommy LOVES it and we end up pushing him around in it. It’s heavy too! YehYeh (Bill’s dad) is working on getting a new battery. Bill is a little ticked that Tommy got to drive a Vette before him.

Bill has been working in SLC three to four days a week since April, and Tommy anxiously waits for Daddy to come home. Cute and sad at the same time!

Playing fetch with Max… sort of.  Tommy calls him “Maa” and then barks.

Bill’s Father’s Day gift from Tommy.

I’m really late in reading and commenting…you’re probably moved already.  Hope all goes well with that process.  Thanks for keeping us posted both with your move and with pictures of our grand nephew.  He’s growing too fast.

@jandsschultz – actually, the moving company didn’t have any availability until July 25th, so we haven’t moved yet. New post coming soon.
