I joined up with my local Hike it Baby moms for a snow hike into Neff’s Canyon. It lies just south of Big Cottonwood Canyon and is a pretty steady uphill hike the whole way to the sign where we turn around and head back. The canyon continues up, but with kids in tow, this is how far we go. This is one canyon where dogs are allowed too, so we had a Louie with us.
It was chilly, especially in the beginning before we worked up a sweat. And the snow was slippery enough that additional traction on hiking boots was necessary. But snowshoes weren’t.
Matthew was passed out by the time we reached the sign. 🙂
Back at the parking lot he woke up and we let the walkers play for a bit and have a snack before heading home. Louie was a good boy and just watched.
